Overview

Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the early 15th century in winter of the year 1412, by Èbêyê Brgfesm Brg̈gê. The establishment of Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Èbêyê Brgfesm Brg̈gê electing to pay people to resettle in Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä.

Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive paverstone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The failry decent fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

The first thing you notice about Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble city. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

History

Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä used to be more prosperous, but something happened relatively long ago that left it a shrunken shadow of its former self. If the settlement is prosperous, the locals often lament how much more they could have had. If the settlement is not prosperous, the locals blame their ill fortunes on that event. Reminders of this better time can be found in many places within Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami spared the town from the rampage of a legendary monster. One of Ē̌ler Yṓy Ni̋ēkēä's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
